03 Mar We welcome Uplands Day Centre in Stroud to our Charity!
Uplands is a Charity in Stroud that has been delivering exceptional day care for over 20 years. The facility has been providing much needed expertise and currently provides over 150 days of care a year to the community. Combined with Lilian Faithfull they have together offered nearly 100 years of care to older people in the County.
Chief Executive Martin Hughes comments “We are delighted to welcome Uplands guests, families and staff under our wing. As a Charity they can take comfort, that we are safe, stable and are in care for the right reasons – Not for Profit. We look forward to furthering the excellent support Uplands has gained in the Community”
Chair of Trustees of Uplands Day Care Service John Colquhoun says: “I am particularly pleased that the Trustees have been able to merge Uplands into another “not-for-profit” care provider and thereby secured its future in perpetuity which is great news for the community.”
