We’re looking for new Trustees
14 SepWe’re looking for new Trustees to help shape the future of Lilian Faithfull Care
After more than 80 years of caring for older people across Gloucestershire, we’re looking ahead to the next chapter of Lilian Faithfull Care.
We’re looking for four new Trustees to join our Board and help us shape the future of the charity.
Our Trustees play an important role in making sure Lilian Faithfull Care remains a strong, sustainable charity that puts people before profit. Working alongside our Executive Team, they provide strategic leadership, support and challenge, and help us make sure we continue to deliver the best possible care and support for older people.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in areas including HR, digital transformation, marketing and fundraising, commercial leadership, charity governance, adult social care, legal and contractual matters, and board-level strategic development.
You don’t need to have been a Trustee before. What matters is the experience, perspective and skills you can bring, along with a genuine interest in helping us make a difference to the lives of older people in our communities.
As a Trustee, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Help shape the future direction of an established Gloucestershire charity
- Bring your professional experience and insight to Board discussions
- Support and challenge the Executive Team
- Help safeguard the charity’s financial sustainability and reputation
- Contribute to the future of care and support for older people across Gloucestershire
The commitment is approximately 18 days a year, including Board meetings, committee work, strategy sessions and preparation.
This is an unremunerated role, but it is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a charity that has been part of Gloucestershire for more than 80 years.
