Our specialist end of life care suite

In July our Patron Lady Bathurst opened our new Fairhaven Suite – specialist end of life care at St Faith’s nursing home in Cheltenham.

It has nine spacious suites offering privacy, comfort and peace for adults in their final days, weeks or months. A key part is the support, space and facilities it offers to families and friends, enabling them to spend quality time with their loved ones.

Our Head Nurse, Karen explained, “The Suite is where the families can feel at home and be part of the end of life journey.”

This specialist end of life care is in addition to the end of life care already offered at St Faith’s and across our charity’s care homes. The Fairhaven Suite is away from the main nursing home so it is peaceful. The rooms are big so they can easily be reconfigured to suit the situation and enable loved ones to also stay.
