Residents watch The Queen’s state funeral service

Staff across our care homes made some lovely arrangements for residents to watch The Queen’s state funeral, either together or in their rooms. Including baking delicious cakes and amending the food menu to enable people to eat in front of the telly. Like most of us, not wanting to miss a single moment of the monumental and moving service for Her Majesty.

A few homes have created some beautiful books of condolences with messages from residents and staff. They are sending them to King Charles II and the staff at Buckingham Palace.
