Chick cuddles at Astell House

The cute chicks at Astell are getting lots of love from residents and staff.

A few residents from Resthaven travelled over to see them too and enjoyed an afternoon tea. Visit them today!

It’s a highlight every year for Astell, with some residents reminiscing about having chickens themselves.

Watching the wonderful experience of them hatching and having a gentle hold.

When the time comes to give the chicks a home, they’re placed on free range farms.
