Cakes for all occasions

Caring through food is a big focus for our charity’s catering teams and they’re renowned for their fantastic cakes for special occasions and afternoon teas.

One resident, Margaret Cheetham recently shared with us, “I hadn’t realised what a pleasure it would be to come down for a meal that’s been cooked for you. We get a dessert at lunch and supper, which is a treat and we have a sherry before lunch – something I would never have had time for at home as I would be busy cooking.”

A dozen chefs, and their team of nearly fifty staff, cook from fresh each day to provide tasty, nutritious food for residents, day guests and staff. The team enjoy getting to know each person’s needs and preferences.
