This week in September 1969, Astell House was opened as a Care Home – Pictured Lady Isobel Barnett, Sir Rex, Lady Hodges and Miss Pritchard Matron of the home – past and present pictures as we invest in the home for the future.

When families come to live with us they can be sure, we’ve been in care since 1946, and we’ll be here in another 70 years.
