A charity collaboration called ‘Caboodle’

We’ve joined forces with Heart Heroes for an intergenerational charity collaboration. An exciting new project named ‘Caboodle’ by Heart Heroes charity, bringing two generations together. Their Heart Heroes’ children, meet with our care home residents, and connect over enjoyable meaningful activities.

The first ‘Caboodle’ event was a great success in September last year at our Astell House care home in Cheltenham. Young Heart Heroes’ toddlers met residents and enjoyed a meaningful morning of music, dancing, cake and companionship.

The next meet up will be this Saturday 18 February and Heart Heroes children will visit our Resthaven home in Stroud. In celebration of ‘National Heart’ month and their charity, they’ll be working on a creative heart themed project.

We look forward to hearing all about it and seeing photos of their lovely time together and craft creations.
