Lilian Faithfull Care feature on the BBC Politics West show

On Sunday 2 May we featured on the BBC Politics West show. Interviewed safely* by reporter Hayley Mortimer, our CEO Martin Hughes spoke about how our Charity’s care homes and adult day care hubs help with the much needed care for older people in Gloucestershire, “We will help as many people as we can in our county.” And a resident, Reverend Susan Emtage – one of the first women ordained in the Country, talked about her home at Faithfull House.
With our charity ‘Home for Life’ pledge, we’ll never ask a resident to leave our care homes for financial reasons. We believe it is our duty to care for those who have helped form our way of life and given so much to our society, and we take great pride in caring for them.
*The filming was done safely and securely with a lateral flow test first and under supervised and carefully controlled conditions.
