06 Sep Cycling along the Honeybourne Line
Posted at 12:43h in News
Residents can feel the fresh air, fun and freedom of cycling, with the help of our electric Trishaw bike.
Our teams can take residents out, with someone sat next to them, along the traffic-free and picturesque Honeybourne Line. The bike is electric so it’s easy for the riders, and a comfortable ride for the passengers as it has a hood and a cosey cover.
Huge thanks again to staff at Signal Agency Ltd, who were inspired by the Cycling Without Age initiative, and kindly donated the bike to us.
The bike is held at St Faith’s home, close to the Honeybourne Line, and with transport all our care home residents can have a ride.
Please contact our care home managers to arrange a ride with a resident from our Cheltenham or Stroud care homes.
