In this vital role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment, ensuring our residents live in a pleasant and comfortable space. You will be part of our housekeeping team, reporting to the housekeeping manager. You will contribute to creating a hygienic and homely and caring environment in which our residents can comfortably live and our staff can work.

Key Care Home Cleaner Responsibilities

  • Cleaning residents’ rooms & communal areas
  • Implementing sanitisation & infection control procedures
  • Laundry service for residents

  • Keeping communal areas tidy and clear of hazards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience cleaning in a medical or care home setting is preferred, but not essential

  • Be comfortable doing regular heavy lifting and bending
