Bike heroes week

During #BikeWeekUK we’re celebrating our charity’s brilliant bike heroes.

Since 2019 our enthusiastic cycling volunteers and staff have enabled our residents and day guests to get on a bike and rediscover all the fun, freedom and fresh air of cycling.

A special thanks to our fantastic volunteers – Malcolm, Pete, Lucy and Richard, for their time and making the rides happen.

It’s a wonderful stimulating experience, great for people’s well being and provides connections with our local commuity.

We pedal the ‘trishaw’ along the traffic-free picturesque Honeybourne Line or around Montpellier Park in Cheltenham.

The Trishaw bike was generously donated by Lindsay and the team Signal and is affiliated with the Cycling Without Age initiative.

This year, CyclingUK are celebrating cycling as a force for good and the positives that riding can bring, both to our health, as well as the impacts on our communities and the planet.
