Flight Lieutenant Derek Tapson – 197 Typhoon Squadron.
Derek Tapson was a Flight Lieutenant in the RAF serving on D-Day in Normandy.
Receiving the French Governments Highest Award, the Legion D’Honneur, for his and the Squadrons role in the liberation of France from occupation.
Age 102 and looking great!
