We’ve recently read that some homes in the County won’t allow residents to bring in pets when they need that little extra care and support.
Research has shown that the prospect of entering a care home and being separated from their pet could cause some elderly people to consider taking steps that might actually cause them harm I.e. To avoid being separated from their pet, some residents would make themselves more ill rather than leave their pet.
Not us, that may apply to the shiny new facilities in the County – This is Lilian Faithfull Care – meet our two residents at Royal Court!
If you have any worries, speak to the Managers at our homes and we’ll do all we can.
